Taken To The Limit by
THE ILLEGAL EAGLES

On Tuesday 16th November 1999 I went to see THE ILLEGAL EAGLES who were performing the songs of THE EAGLES at Cheltenham's Town Hall.

The band started the evening with "Tequila Sunrise", and continued with tracks like "Take It Easy", "New Kid In Town", "Lyin' Eyes", "Desperado", "Best Of My Love", "Take It To The Limit", "Rocky Mountain Way", "New York Minute", to name but a few.

I thought the songs were performed really well, in fact some of the tracks like "Hotel California" and "Take It To The Limit" sounded even better than the originals.

For the last track we spent "Life In The Fast Lane" before we had to "check out and leave".
